BRB is an architecture and interior design studio founded in 2019 by Rabia Polat Buçaklar and Bülent Buçaklar, continuing a shared vision that began before their university years.

Their studies in Interior Architecture at Eastern Mediterranean University formed the foundation of their design approach and collaborative practice. Following her undergraduate studies, Rabia Polat Buçaklar pursued a master’s degree, combining her academic background with her design practice, while Bülent Buçaklar focused on design and implementation, contributing to the development of the studio’s production practice.

BRB approaches design beyond architectural decisions alone, considering each space through its context, surroundings, light, materiality, function, and user experience. Every project evolves through a process of research that reveals its own conditions and character, bringing together architecture, interiors, furniture, and the smallest details within a cohesive design language.

Drawing from different geographies and experiences, the studio brings together color, material, texture, density, and layering to give each project a distinctive character. For BRB, design extends beyond aesthetics and function; it is a holistic process that shapes the atmosphere, identity, and experience of a space.
